Sergio Ramos and RSG Group end their partnership

The business partnership between Sergio Ramos and RSG Group expired on April 1, 2023. The studio SERGIO RAMOS by JOHN REED in Madrid will be rebranded and reopened under the brand McFIT.

SERGIO RAMOS by JOHN REED was a project born out of the friendship and vision of the late RSG Group founder Rainer Schaller and professional athlete Sergio Ramos. Their passion for the common endeavor, the uniqueness of the soccer star and RSG Group’s expertise in fitness were the foundation of this special brand.

Rafael Lirio, CEO of RSG Group Spain, explains: „The tragic loss of our founder, Rainer Schaller, has left a clear mark and affects this personal project in particular. Unfortunately, the original concept can no longer continue as it was once intended, which we regret very much.“ For this reason, Sergio Ramos and the new RSG Group management have decided to dissolve the partnership by mutual agreement.

All employees will continue to be employed by RSG Group España. For the time being, nothing will change for the members; the studio will continue to operate as McFIT. Shortly, the club will be adapted and remodeled according to the new brand and its concept.
